INTRO: [Am] [G] [F] [C] [Am] [G] [F] (2x)

[Am]One pleasant [G]summer's [F]morn[C]ing [Am]
When all the [G]flowers were [F]springing-o [Am]
Nature [G]was a[F]dorn[C]ing
And the [Am]small birds [G]sweetly [F]singing-o
I [C]met my love b[G]y Banbridge [E7]Town
[Am]My darling blue eyed Sally-o[E]
[Am]She's the star of the [G]County [Em]Down
The [E7]flower of Magherally-[Am]o

And with admi[G]ration [F]I did [C]gaze [Am]
Upon this [G]blue eyed [F]maiden-o [Am]
Adam [G]wasn't [F]half so [C]pleased
When [Am]he met [G]Eve in [F]Eden-o
Her [C]skin was like the [G]lily whi[E7]te
That [Am]grows in yonder valley-o [E]
[Am]She's my queen and my [G]heart's de[Em]light
The [E7]flower of Magherally-[Am]o

Her dark red [G]hair in [F]ringlets [C]clung [Am]
Her boots were [G]Spanish [F]leather-o
[Am]Ribbons [G]from her [F]bonnet [C]hung [Am]
Her scarlet [G]cap and [F]feather-o
Like [C]Venus bright s[G]he did ap[E7]pear
M[Am]y darling blue eyed Sally-o[E]
[Am]She's the girl that [G]I love de[Em]ar
The [E7]flower of Magherally-[Am]o

And I hope the [G]day will [F]surely [C]come [Am]
We'll join [G]hands to[F]gether-o
And [Am]I will [G]bring my [F]darling [C]home
In [Am]spite of [G]wind or [F]weather-o
And [C]let them all [G]say what they [E7]will
And [Am]let them reel and rally-[E]o
For [Am]I will wed the [G]girl I [Em]love
The [E7]flower of Magherally-[Am]o
