Standin By The Bedside Chords & Lyrics - Dixie Chicks

CAPO: 3rd Fret

[CHORUS]
[G]I was standin' by the bedside of a [C]sister
Who was [G]just about to cross that swellin' [D]tide
And I [G]asked her if she would do me a [C]favour
And kindly [G]take this message [D]to the other [G]side

Well, if you see my saviour, tell him that you [C]saw me
And [G]when you saw me, I was on my [D]way
You may [G]meet some boyfriends who may ask a[C]bout me
You tell them [G]I am a-comin' [D]home some[G]day

[CHORUS]
I was standin' by the bedside of a [C]sister
Who was [G]just about to cross that swellin' [D]tide
And I [G]asked her if she would do me a [C]favour
And kindly [G]take this message [D]to the other [G]side

But don't for[G]get to tell my [D]savoir what I [G]said

[CHORUS]
I was standin' by the bedside of a [C]sister
Who was [G]just about to cross that swellin' [D]tide
And I [G]asked her if she would do me a [C]favour
