Lord Build Me A Cabin Chords & Lyrics - Hank Williams

Many [A]years I've been lookin' for a [D]place to call [A]home
But I've failed here to find it, so [B7]I must travel [E]on;
I [A]don't care for fine mansions on [D]earth's sinkin' [A]sand
Lord, build me a cabin in the corner of [E]glory [A]land

[CHORUS]
Yes, build me just a cabin in the [D]corner of glory [A]land
In the shade of the tree of life that [B7]it may ever [E]stand
Where [A]I can just hear the angels sing and [D]shake Jesus' [A]hand
Lord, build me a cabin in the corner of [E]glory [A]land

[CHORUS]
Blessed Lord, I'm not asking to [D]live in the [A]midst
For I know I'm not worthy of such [B7]splendor as [E]this
But I'm [A]asking for mercy while [D]humbly I [A]stand
Lord, build me a cabin in the corner of [E]glory [A]land

[CHORUS]
I have many loved ones who have [D]gone on this [A]way
On that great final morning shall [B7]I hear them [E]say
Come and [A]join in the singin' and [D]play in our [A]band
Lord, build me a cabin in the corner of [E]glory [A]land
