[INTRO]
[G] [C]

[VERSE]
Well I wanna talk to ya for a minute a[G]bout an old man that I met
H[D]e said boy you're lookin' troubled, and I be[G]t your life's a mess
He said I u[C]sed to have the same problem too, I was way outta control
You know the [G]only thing that set it right for me was a little [D]good ol' rock 'n roll

[CHORUS 1]
I put my f[G]eet on the rock, and [C]my name on the roll
[G]When it's called up yonder I won't w[A]orry about my so[D]ul
I [G]know my home is waiting and it's s[C]omethin' to behold
I put my f[G]eet on the rock, and [D]my name on the [G]roll

I [G]never heard the gospel s[C]pread like that before
I g[G]uess the message co[D]mes in many w[G]ays
Those [G]simple words of wisdom can o[C]pen Heaven's door
[G] [D] [G] D/
So every time I get the chance I say come on and

[CHORUS 2]
Put your [G]feet on the rock, and yo[C]ur name on the roll
So w[G]hen it's called up yonder you won't w[A]orry about your s[D]oul
You k[G]now your home is waiting and it's som[C]ething to behold
So put y[G]our feet on the rock and y[D]our name on the r[G]oll

[OUTRO]
