[G]We have moved from our quiet valley
To a much larger one in [C]town
Old age caused us to make this sudden [D]sally
But we can?t let the fast pace get us [G]down
The old log cabin in the [G]timber
Was the place we loved the b[C]est
But our heart and eyes grew [D]dimmer
So we moved to a place where we could [G]rest
Father-time?s long arms will soon pull us [G]in,
But for now we are closer to those who [C]care
Back with our young ones once [D]again
Getting ready for when He calls us [G]there.
Getting ready for when he calls us [G]there
Getting ready for when he calls us [C]there
We will live again in that quiet [D]place
that sweet log cabin up in the [G]air.
